<aside>
The optimized schedule remains a proposal: you adjust assumptions such as fill levels, collection volumes or maintenance windows directly in avoltra and restart the optimization — the plan follows operations, not the other way around.

What's new
- Edit assumptions directly. You adjust fill levels, planned collection volumes and times as well as maintenance windows yourself in the planning view.
- Re-optimize at the push of a button. After a change, avoltra recalculates the schedule for the remaining planning horizon — including costs and savings compared with the initial plan.
- Changes stay traceable. Every adjustment is logged: who changed which value and when.
- Compare plan against actual. Projected and actual fill levels are shown side by side, so deviations become visible early.
Why this matters
No production day goes exactly as planned: a plant fails, a collection is postponed, maintenance is brought forward. A schedule that cannot be adjusted is ignored in precisely those moments. With manual correction and re-optimization, planning stays reliable — and the decision stays where the process knowledge is: in the control room.
How to get started
- Open Production Planning for your site.
- Update the assumptions that deviate from the plan — for example current fill levels or postponed collections.
- Restart the optimization and review the adjusted schedule.
Good to know
- The automatic planning runs remain untouched; manual re-optimization complements them and does not replace them.
